There are many recipes out there for dutch oven cobbler. I think it needs to be made to preference. We like it best in between a crust and a cake.
Peach Cobbler
Butter a size 10-12 dutch oven. Lay
1-2 cans sliced peaches
over bottom, enough to cover the bottom.
Sprinkle
1 yellow cake mix
over peaches.
Put
6 TB of butter
cut up in small pieces over cake mix.
Sprinkle with Cinnamon. Cook with 7-10 coals on bottom, 14-18 on top. It takes around 30 minutes, check it often.
Variations for crust:
Mix
1 yellow cake mix
1 can sprite
together, pour over peaches. Cook as above.
Mix
1 yellow cake mix
1/2 of all the ingredients on the box for a regular cake.
